As an Academic Learning Strategist & Specialist, I work to establish relationships with student populations often marginalized on campus. Students with ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, Executive Functioning Disorder, Auditory Processing Disorders, Visual Perceptual/Motor and Intellectual/Mental Disorders often benefit from an individualized approach to academic support and implementation of learning strategies. By providing specialized support with educational planning, goal setting, time management, organization and learning strategies, students are equipped with a system of support as they navigate academic responsibilities – very often at the intersection of diversity, equity, inclusion and access.
